What To Pack For A Visit To Iceland

WHAT TO PACK FOR A VISIT TO ICELAND

Planning a visit to Iceland? Wondering what to pack and wear? Here is an overview of what I packed along with some outfits to help you in preparing for your trip. A good guide to keep in mind is that the average July temperature in the south can be between 10-13 °C (50-55 °F) so it doesn't really get too cold, mainly because it's a island. Warm summer days can reach 20-25 °C (68-77 °F) if we are lucky, and the highest temperature recorded was 30.5 °C (86.9 °F) in the Eastern fjords back in 1939...so I think we are due a heatwave!!

THE LAYERING RULE:

  1. Thermal base layer
  2. Fleece layer
  3. Breathable outer layer

And, to make it nice and easy for you, I created an easy-to-use Packing Checklist to help you prepare for your trip. Simply click the button below to download the PDF, it's free!!
