Wedding Fingerprint Tree

My brother and his fiancé wanted to have a fingerprint tree at their wedding last weekend and asked me to create one. I drew out a tree in black watercolour and ink, and added in some detail to make it more personal - they are standing by the tree and their bikes are off to the side.  At the wedding we had it on a table beside some old photos of the family - like a family tree - and invited guests to come and add their finger print to it from two shades of green in pads (wet wipes on hand to remove the ink).  We had a camera on the table and took pictures of all the guest making their mark. It was fun to watch it grow and I think it looks great!

What creative ideas have you seen at a wedding recently?
