How To Make Flapjack + video

Flapjack is a great traybake to make if you are having people over or are off on an adventure. I made some last weekend for our road trip along the south coast of Iceland. Here's my recipe.

Ingredients

250g oats
75g sugar
150g butter
3 tbsp golden syrup

Method

In a pan, melt the sugar, butter and golden syrup. Pour in the oats and mix together. Line and grease a baking tray, pour the mixture in and flatten out. Bake in the oven for 20-25mins at 180'c / gas mark 4 until golden.

Take it out and cut into pieces now as its easier, then leave to cool before enjoying.
