How To Make Energy Balls (+ video)

Are you looking for that perfect little treat but don't want to be giving in to a chocolate fix? Try these little energy ball treats. They are super easy to made, filled with protein and they satisfy a sugar craving without consuming a heap of the refined stuff. 

 
 

INGREDIENTS

200g Medjool Dates, 250g Peanut Butter, 1 TBSP Coco Powder, 2 TBSP Coconut Oil, 2 TBSP Honey, a pinch of salt, 150g Mixed Nuts

 

Method

Basically you just throw all the ingredients into your food processor and mix until it makes a smooth and sticky consistency. Using a spoon, or just your hands, mould into balls (recipe makes about 20) and place them on greaseproof paper on a plate. Refrigerate until they are hard, I just keep them in the fridge and take one whenever I fancy a little snack...they last about two weeks (unless Ingimar eats them all first).
